WHAT:

The Velvet Hippo is a super friendly rooftop bar within walking distance of the DCC. They specialize in amazing cocktails. 

21+ Only event, house rules.

Bring your ID, will be checked at the door for entry.

 

WHEN:

Thursday April 2nd Starting at 10PM ending at closing at 12AM

19 Orange Street, 3rd Floor, Durham, NC 

An Elevator is Available

Walk from DCC to The Velvet Hippo about 5 minutes or less

 

WHY:

ALCOHMAHAL - But for real it's a wonderful place to meet up with everyone for a drink.

 

LIMITATIONS:

Fursuits are allowed! Bar staff may ask you to remove your fursuit head for beverage purchases and ID check.

The venue said they can support up to 150 attendees at once. If the event becomes way too popular we may have to ask people to leave the line.

We don't have a custom drink menu yet - but will likely have one!
